Creative and Entertaining Children's Book

I LOVE the story....the Seed is excited for her new life and then experiences "real life" feelings. The end is exciting. The illustrations tell the story well. There are surprises in the images, so look for them! I will purchase again and again for my grandchildren and my friend's grandchildren. Great for encouraging growth mindset!

As a guidance counselor for k-8 students, I have to say I love this book! Aside from the beautiful pictures, I love how this book models different emotions, mindsets, obstacles, optimism and the ability to choose a path! There are just enough words on the pages, so it is not over stimulating. The end of the book was great, as it shows that taking one step at a time can help you get through anything! I met the illustrator at a hotel Starbucks, she was so friendly and kind. Meeting the author and now reading this story, I enjoy the book even more knowing the author and the message are both genuine.

A delightful storybook for children and adults!

I was recently given a copy of this delightful book. While it's been years since I've read any children's books, I found this story fresh and optimistic. The thought that a seed gets stuck in life, only to grow up to be a tree with a beautiful view of the world, has a sweet sentiment and caring lesson about patience. The artwork is a unique variation of impressionism that children and adults can understand and enjoy.
